DryFly is a locally owned distillery in Spokane, Washington, that mixes a love of the outdoors, particularly fly fishing, with craft liquors.
While working for Spokane branding agency The Woodshop back in 2019-2020, I had the pleasure of designing a test addition to their line of canned cocktails.
The design was a departure from previous DryFly designs and incorporated new brand elements into the DryFly visual language.  The inspiration came from vintage fishing licenses, incorporating black-and-white illustrations, form boxes, and bold, stamped-red elements. The design is a tribute to my outdoorsman grandfather, who lived in a cabin in the woods and was a skilled fly fisherman. Elements in the illustration come from my memory of the gear that littered his living space
